We will meet at Dodge Park at 667 Sullivant Ave, Columbus, OH 43215 to network and to sketch or paint views of the city en plein-air.
What to bring:
For drawing – your favorite pencils or charcoal for value drawings, ie. black and white.
For color – your choice of water color, water color pencils, oil pastels, crayons, whatever.
Your favorite surface for your choice of drawing or painting medium.
There are chairs on the roof terrace, but if you have a favorite camp stool which you use for plein-air, bring it along.
Introduction:
A brief discussion of live drawing – mediums, the concepts of measuring, and shapes and values – courtesy of Ruth Gless.

Sketching/Painting:
We will have a series of free drawing/painting sessions interspersed with opportunities to socialize.
“Throw Down”
At the end of evening we will throw down our work so we can all enjoy what our compadres have accomplished.
